THE MUSICAL OF THE FUTURE IS VENETIAN, “JUNE” CONQUERS INDIA
Il Mattino di Padova - 25 February 2014Il Mattino di Padova
The show animates 20,000 students at the Bombay Campus festival, with 3D mappings as a scenery and a story that talks about friendship.
“The musical of the future has left Veneto to go and conquer India. Technology immersed in projections mapped in 3D as a scenery and narrative element, here is “June the immersive musical”. The project combines three Venetian realities: Share, Drawlight, and Crosstributon. Drawlight is a company specializing in mapping design. Mick Odelli designed and wrote the musical. DrawLight was asked for an idea for the 17th edition of TechFest, an opportunity to work on a project with many.
The organizers gave the three carte blanche and supplied a part of the budget, so June, the result of two months of uninterrupted work, opened on January 3rd, and will run until the 5th, an event that is the festival of one of the campuses of India, that of Bombay.”
